Anypoint Partner Manager send endpoints have the following functions:

Send to Partners endpoints act as target endpoints in outbound message flows to which transformed messages are sent to partners either directly or via third-party connections.

Target at Host endpoints act as target endpoints in inbound message flows to which transformed messages are sent to backend applications.
