OpenAI Connector now supports the OpenAI Conversations API with the Create Conversation, Retrieve Conversation, Update Conversation, Delete Conversation, Create Conversation Items, List Conversation Items, Retrieve Conversation Item, and Delete Conversation Item operations.

The deprecated OpenAI Assistants API operations, including its thread, message, and run operations, are removed: Create Assistant, Get Assistant, List Assistants, Modify Assistant, Create Thread, Retrieve Thread, Modify Thread, Delete Thread, Create Thread And Run, Create Message, Retrieve Message, Modify Message, and List Message. Before you upgrade, update any flows that use these operations, for example by migrating them to the Responses and Conversations operations.

The connection test now validates the connection by calling the OpenAI List Models endpoint instead of the Assistants endpoint.

OpenAI Connector is a beta connector that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and the Non-GA Gen AI and Non-GA Credit Consumption terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this beta connector with external systems or services consumes Mule messages and is at the Customer’s sole discretion. |
