MCP Support

The MCP Support policy adds MCP support to an Omni Gateway MCP server instance. This policy is required for your MCP server instance to function properly.

What’s New

MCP Support policy definition and implementation version 1.1.1 is now supported by Omni Gateway.
Added the Inject MCP Element Headers parameter, which injects the MCP primitive as request headers for downstream policy use. The policy sets x-ms-mcp-element-id to the identifier and x-ms-mcp-element-type to the kind (tool, prompt, or resource).
