RPA Builder 6.5.0 Release Notes

RPA Builder is the on-premises application that enables you to build automations by specifying the action steps of the process.

To take advantage of all new features, improvements, and bug fixes, ensure that you are using the latest version of each RPA application.

What’s New

  • Several new action steps are available:

    • Signature Detection with AWS enables you to extract one or more signatures from a document.

    • Check Folder enables you to check the existence of a folder in the specified path.

    • Create Folder enables you to create a new folder in the specified path.

    • Copy Folder enables you to copy a folder, including all subfolders and files, to the specified path.

    • Delete Folder enables you to delete a folder, and all its contents, in the specified path.

    • Rename Folder enables you to rename a folder in the specified path.

    • Session Based Variables enables you to share variables accross all workflows that run inside the same session.

  • Runtime Variables now includes Process ID, Bot ID, Session ID, and Session Name.

  • RPA Builder now shows notifications when you download a locked process and when you try to upload changes to a locked process.

  • Read Mail and Send Mail now support the following encodings: UTF-8, UTF-16, Shift-JIS, and EUC-JP.

  • Select Web Element now includes the Value, Index, and Text inbound variables.

  • Queries with AWS now includes the Confidence first answer outbound variable.

  • Copy File and Move file can now create a new folder if the destination folder does not exist.

  • String Operations now includes the following operations: Reverse string, Uppercase conversion, Lowercase conversion, Find and return index of string found.

  • The JSONPath Expression builder now enables you to set filters for the resulting expression.

  • All incoming RPA API requests now include the x-correlation-id header.

  • You can now switch between multiple accounts when testing a workflow with Mail Session.

  • You can now configure conversion quality in AWS actions steps that support PDF to PNG conversion.

  • The CefSharp.Common library is upgraded to version 117.2.20 to address reported security vulnerabilities.
