FIPS 140-3 Compliance Support:
This release introduces comprehensive FIPS 140-3 compliance support, including:
Automatic FIPS mode detection via the mule.security.model system property
Smart BouncyCastle FIPS (BCFIPS) security provider registration with safety controls
Support for FIPS-certified Snowflake JDBC driver
Prevention of unauthorized JVM security configuration modifications in FIPS mode
Two configuration options: Configure BCFIPS in java.security (recommended) or enable auto-registration with explicit authorization
TLS 1.3 Support:
Enhanced security with modern TLS 1.3 protocol support for Snowflake connections
Security Provider Management:
Improved security provider registration logic with validation-first approach to prevent conflicts in regulated environments
