Modifying Message Flow Settings
Active message flows between you and your partners don’t require much maintenance. However, you might need to:

Change flow identifiers, endpoints, or maps.

Switch from a sandbox environment and reclaim production-environment resources.

Delete the flow when it becomes inactive, as described in Deleting Message Flows.
Before making changes, carefully consider the impact on the message flow. |
Modify the Settings of an Inbound Message Flow
To modify the settings of an inbound message flow:

In the sidebar, select Message Flows.

On the Message flows page, select the message flow to modify.

Change any of the following settings:
Setting Actions Additional Information Receive from <partner>
Select different identifiers for the partner.
Receiving endpoint <endpoint name>
Source message

Select a different receive from partners message type.

(EDIFACT or X12 message type) View current validation settings.

(EDIFACT or X12 message type) Indicate whether to send a 997 functional acknowledgment and select the endpoint to which to send the acknowledgment.
Map
View the associated translation map, add additional source attributes to the map, or import another one.
Target at <host>

Select a different Target at Host message type.

Select a different Target at Host endpoint.

Verify that any modified sections of the flow show a green checkmark next to them and then click Deploy to deploy the updated message flow to Mule.
It can take five minutes or so for your configuration changes to sync with Mule. -
To test your modified message flow, see Deploying and Testing Message Flows.
After you confirm the successful deployment of your message flow, you can track its processed messages from the Activity page.
Modify the Settings of an Outbound Message Flow
To modify the settings of an outbound message flow:

In the sidebar, select Message Flows.

On the Message flows page, select <Message flow name>.

Change any of the following settings:

Select a different Source at Host endpoint.

Select a different Source at Host message type.

Select different reference IDs to use for outbound routing.
Map
View the associated translation map, add additional source attributes to the map, or import another one.
Message type

Select a different Send to Partners message type.

(EDIFACT or X12 message type) Indicate whether to send a 997 functional acknowledgment and select the endpoint to which to send the acknowledgment.
