Tracing Module Release Notes
Tracing module enables you to enhance your logs by adding, removing, and clearing all variables from the logging context for a given Mule event. It also enables you to modify the correlation ID during flow execution and add custom attributes to a transaction’s root span.

The new Add Root Span Attributes operation (
<tracing:add-root-span-attributes>) adds custom attributes to the root span of the current transaction. This operation requires Mule runtime 4.13 or later and has no effect on earlier runtime versions. For more information, see Add Custom Attributes to the Root Span with Tracing Module.
