Windows Gateway Services was originally released as a supporting component of the MSMQ Connector. This service is now a product of its own providing services to the following connectors:

Note: For development environments, Windows 7, 8, and 10 also work. For the operational environment, a server-based OS is required.

  • Added support to run MSMQ cleanup task impersonating an user.

  • Fixed impersonation issues for MSMQ when building access context.

  • Added service timeouts support for the Dynamics AX connector.

  • Added GZIP support to the routing service for the Dynamics AX & CRM connectors.

  • Added trace of routing errors (used by AX & CRM connectors).

  • Added support to operate disabling 2PC for the MSMQ connector.

  • Installation improved to update/migrate configuration settings through updates.

  • Keeping Windows Service configuration settings (after installing this version, future upgrades will keep the Windows Service configuration updated if customized).

  • Fixed: Memory leak due to accumulating queue cleanup state.

  • Fixed: Better exception handling during queue exists check.

  • Improved preservation of configuration file settings during upgrade.

  • Reduced TTL of state cache items to 1 hour to reduce memory usage under peak load.

  • Fixed inconsistency in cleanup-delay behavior when set to 0.

  • Fixed issue where installation directory during setup was not honored.

  • Fixed issue with setup app where uninstall did not cleanly remove all directories.
