Runtime Manager 1.4.x Release Notes

1.4.1

Anypoint Runtime Manager version 1.4.1 is a minor release that officially GAs Unified Alerts for Cloud & Hybrid deployments. Runtime Managers (hybrid) users now have the alerts functionality and existing cloud users now have a global view of all their alerts.

Features and Functionality

  • Unified Alerts for Cloudhub + Anypoint Runtime Manager: Unified event based alerts for CloudHub and Runtime Manager. It enables IT Operations users to have the ability to proactively monitor several incidents. Support for business groups enables admins to manage read & write access to alerts. See Alerts.

  • Support for static IP addresses: Agent can now support specific static addresses. See static IP addresses.

Known Issues

  • An application running on a cluster or group may not be able to send an alert when one or more of its nodes restarts. If an alert is triggered while a node is restarting, the alert will not be sent even if the node successfully comes back online.

  • Application with the same names deployed on different servers do not have a clear distinction while setting up alerts.

  • When a server group or cluster is deleted, any alerts associated with it need to be removed at the same time. If the Alerts aren’t deleted, they will NOT be triggered.

1.4.0

The Anypoint Runtime Manager, V1.4, release includes new functionality such as audit logging, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. It also includes an Early Access version of Alerts for Runtime Manager that is available for select beta users and available as a GA on April 23rd 2016.

Additionally, once logged in to the Anypoint Platform, CloudHub and Runtime Manager users will now be able to access the console via a link that says Runtime Manager instead of "CloudHub", on the nav bar.

  • Name change on homepage: Cloudhub and Runtime Manager customers will now access the console via a link that says “Runtime Manager” instead of "CloudHub" on the nav bar.

  • (Beta Users only) Unified Alerts for Cloudhub + Anypoint Runtime Manager: Unified event based alerts for Cloudhub and Runtime Manager.   • SE-3401: ARM marks applications as undeployed (Communication Issue).

  • CHHYBRID-1271: Deleting a cluster with a deployment throws an internal server error.

  • CHHYBRID-1107: Redeployment of domains results in undeployment of applications associated with the domain.

  • CHHYBRID-1293: Fixed behavior while deploying an application to a cluster with a failed Deployment
