Anypoint API Community Manager Release Notes

Use Anypoint API Community Manager to build and operate communities around your APIs for developers and partners, both inside and outside of your organization, who write applications that use your APIs.

  • The API curator enables you to:

    • View APIs in your site and APIs in Exchange, with detailed information about each API and improved searching and filtering.

    • Add single APIs or multiple APIs from Exchange to your site.

    • Remove single APIs or multiple APIs from your site.

    • Edit the name, description, and visibility of APIs on your site, and the visibility of the instances in each API.

  • The member management interface shows:

    • A searchable list of current members, with the option to disable and enable their accounts.

    • A searchable list of requests for access submitted through the member sign-up form, with the options to approve a request, reject a request, show rejected requests, and undo a rejection by retrieving a rejected request.

  • The User Settings custom component enables users to configure notification settings and control what emails they receive.

  • The API Header component shows an email address to contact with questions about the API.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 2.0

New Features

  • After the manual upgrade to version 2.0, all future upgrades are automatic.

    Upgrades with new features are applied to sandbox environments four weeks before they are applied to production environments. Upgrades with only bug fixes are applied to sandbox environments two weeks before they are applied to production environments.

  • The Lightning component Application Details includes the option Enable Application Editing, which enables users to edit application details and reset an application’s client credentials.

  • The instance selector displays all of an asset’s instance versions, including the patch versions.

    To prevent this, do not use the anypoint.mulesoft named credential, and create a new named credential in the Salesforce organization when you upgrade.

  • Under very rare circumstances, opening a page with the API Console component shows the error Cannot read property 'aml' of undefined.

    To remove this error, reload the page.

  • After installing this version, all instances of the Spec Downloader component on all pages stop rendering.

    To correct this, remove each instance of the component from each page, add the component again from the builder palette, and publish your community.
