Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 2.2.5

There are no known issues in this release.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 2.2.0

New Features

  • API Console is updated from 6.4.9 to 6.5.0, including general bug fixes and improvements described in the API Console release notes.

  • On a page with an API record ID in scope, such as an API details page, the Lightning component Application Listing shows only the applications with access to the current version of that API.

  • The API Community Manager connection now supports selecting one of the multiple identity providers supported in Anypoint Platform.

Fixed Issues

  • Creating a new community using an API Community Manager template succeeds without an error.

  • The documentation component correctly renders numbered lists and bulleted lists.

  • The filter in the Lightning component API Catalog shows the API display name and not the API ID.

    The parameter Categories Filter (Advanced) still uses the category ID. If you enter incorrect syntax in the filter, a message shows the correct category names and syntax.

  • The Save to file button works without errors.

  • When the API console displays a method in a version and you select another version that does not have the same method, the console displays the selected version with no errors.

  • Finding assets by custom fields works correctly.

  • The request access interface works correctly regardless of browser refreshes.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 2.0

New Features

  • After the manual upgrade to version 2.0, all future upgrades are automatic.

    Upgrades with new features are applied to sandbox environments four weeks before they are applied to production environments. Upgrades with only bug fixes are applied to sandbox environments two weeks before they are applied to production environments.

  • The Lightning component Application Details includes the option Enable Application Editing, which enables users to edit application details and reset an application’s client credentials.

Fixed Issues

  • The instance selector displays all of an asset’s instance versions, including the patch versions.

  • In the builder, when the Lightning component API Catalog shows an asset list of more than 100 assets, it successfully requests the categories of the assets from Anypoint Platform and displays them.

  • Under very rare circumstances, creating a new community using an API Community Manager template fails, but using a different template works correctly.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 1.82

New Features

  • The guided setup and diagnostics offer simpler and improved configuration of profile permissions.

  • The Lightning component ACM Search Box returns results found in API specifications, documentation pages, and custom fields.

  • The new Lightning components Custom Fields Table and Custom Fields Pills display the custom field values of APIs.

  • The Lightning component Spec Downloader includes the option to hide or show the warning message about possible inconsistencies in automatically generated API specifications.

  • API Console is updated from 6.3.7 to 6.4.9, including general bug fixes and improvements described in the API Console release notes.

  • The Lightning component API Console provides you with the ability to:

    • Make API calls either through Salesforce Experience Cloud or directly from the browser.

    • Supply credentials either automatically from a client application or manually.

    • Expand or hide the request panel.

Known Issues

  • Under very rare circumstances, creating a new community using an API Community Manager template fails, but using another template works correctly.

  • Occasionally, the Lightning component API Catalog fails during a request for the categories of a large asset list.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 1.80.5

Fixed Issues

  • The API Detail component now always displays the latest patch version for the API.

  • Communities with more than 100 APIs operate correctly without generating errors on the control panel.

  • The API version selector now shows the version label correctly, without the v prefix.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 1.80.1

New Features

  • API Console is updated from 6.3.6 to 6.3.7, including general bug fixes and improvements described in the API Console release notes.

  • When publishing an API group to a community, administrators have the option to edit the APIs in the group.

  • The API Access Requester Lightning component includes grant type selection for client applications that have identity providers.

Fixed Issues

  • On the Manage APIs page, administrators can search for APIs by business group by using the syntax businessGroup:myGroup.

  • Assets in API Community Manager without a corresponding asset in Exchange show an improved error message.

  • Administrator-only assets are visible only to administrators.

  • The Request Access button is not visible to guest users.

Fixed Issues

  • Attempting to create a new client application with the same name as an existing client application shows a correct error message.

  • Using separate console components works correctly.

  • Deleting an asset that is in the community and is not in Exchange works without an error.

  • Resetting credentials and editing an application work correctly when the application uses an identity provider.

The December release is distributed in two packages. Version 1.77 includes bug fixes, corrections, and new features, and version 1.76 includes only the bug fixes and corrections. Version 1.77 includes all the changes in version 1.76 and other previous versions.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 1.77

New Features

  • API Community Manager Guided Setup makes installation and configuration faster, easier, and simpler.

  • API Community Manager Diagnostics show status information on your community to make identifying and resolving configuration problems faster, easier, and simpler.

  • Navigating APIs and publishing assets to the community use a new API model that groups all versions of an API or API Group together.

  • The API Header component shows an asset version selector.

Fixed Issues

  • Version 1.77 includes all the bug fixes and corrections in package version 1.76.

Known Issues

  • Version 1.77 includes the known issues of package version 1.76.

  • Upgrading requires permissions configuration.

    Follow the steps to ensure all permissions are correct during the upgrade process.

  • After updating, uploading an API Group to the community may cause errors, until the group is removed from the community and published again.

  • Unpublishing an API from the community that does not exist in Exchange shows an error in the ACM administration interface until the page is refreshed.

Anypoint API Community Manager Package Version: 1.76

  • API Console is updated from 6.2.6 to 6.3.5, including general bug fixes described in the API Console release notes.

  • Caching improves the API console load time.

  • API Community Manager administration renders correctly when no APIs are available for publishing, such as when all APIs in Exchange are already published.

November 2020

API Community Manager package version: 1.74

New Features

  • The Instances Viewer component shows instances of an API.

  • Administrator search is enhanced.

  • The resources displayed in the API Console component can be filtered.

  • The API Console component is updated to version 6.2.6.

Fixed Issues

  • Links from API documentation pages to headers within markdown pages work correctly.

  • The Spec Downloader component supports selection of download languages and has corrected labels.

  • The named credential is not distributed in the package, so the upgrade does not fail due to an attempt to modify a "managed element".

  • Wrapping console navigation item text is supported with a CSS variable.

  • When a user first accesses the API console, the summary section is selected by default.

  • The API Console component includes the following bug fixes:

    • For partial models, rendered examples show all properties, including properties with an empty string value, the integer value 0, or the boolean value false.

    • In type documentation, enum array properties render correctly.

    • When the queryString node is defined on an operation, the Try it panel renders the query parameters.

    • XML example structures match the definition in the RAML type.

    • JSON schemas in RAML render completely.

Known Issues

  • Using the anypoint.mulesoft named credential distributed with the package causes the installation error (anypoint_mulesoft) Cannot Modify Managed Component.

    To prevent this, do not use the anypoint.mulesoft named credential, and create a new named credential in the Salesforce organization when you upgrade.

  • Under very rare circumstances, opening a page with the API Console component shows the error Cannot read property 'aml' of undefined.

    To remove this error, reload the page.

  • After installing this version, all instances of the Spec Downloader component on all pages stop rendering.

    To correct this, remove each instance of the component from each page, add the component again from the builder palette, and publish your community.

September 2020

API Community Manager package version: 1.69

New Feature

  • Communities support linking to specific documentation pages, resources, and methods in the APIs in the API Documentation Viewer, API Console, and API Console Navigation components.

Fixed Issues

  • APIs with no endpoints render correctly.

  • The API Catalog and Search Results components have a wait state that shows a spinner.

  • The API Console component displays the Client ID and Client secret fields in the correct order.

  • The API Console component does not generate duplicate examples for type elements.

  • The API Console component displays query string documentation correctly.

Known Issues

  • This release includes many security changes.

    After installing the new package, update the permissions of the member and guest profiles on the SelfRegisterUserRequests object, and carefully check all the permissions of all other object fields.

    Follow the steps to ensure all permissions are correct during the upgrade process.

  • In an API documentation page, links to headers within the same page do not work.

August 2020

API Community Manager package version: 1.66

New Features

  • The External Data Source supports JSON Web Token (JWT) based authentication for simpler configuration, simpler maintenance, and improved security.

  • The API Header Lightning component optionally displays an API version number.

  • The API console optionally displays an API specification with all resources expanded.

  • IMPORTANT: Both Member and Guest profiles must have field-level Read access to the ParentId field in the CommunityAPI object, so follow the steps to ensure this during the upgrade process.

  • Your Salesforce organizations must have the "External Data Change Tracking for OData 4.0 Adapter" feature enabled, so follow the steps to ensure this during the upgrade process.

API Community Manager package version: 1.62

  • MuleSoft introduces OAS 3.0 support for design and discovery across API Designer, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint API Community Manager, so users can author, catalog, and showcase API specifications in the OAS 3 language throughout the platform.

API Community Manager package version: 1.53

New Features

  • MuleSoft introduces platform-wide support across Access Management, API Manager, Exchange, and API Community Manager to support multiple identity providers for client management.

    Client applications created through the community are registered in the appropriate identity provider based on environment, business group, and API configuration.

  • Users can manage in the community all the client applications visible to them, including applications created in the community and applications created outside the community.

  • Standardized security credentials to OAuth 2.0 and standardized authentication provider for named credentials, removing the need to store Anypoint credentials.
