Creating an API Instance by Importing to API Manager

You can import a previously exported API to share across your organization or to use at a later time. You can import the exported API ZIP file from your local file system or server.

You can import only an API ZIP file that was previously exported from API Manager. You must import the API to the same business group as the one from which you exported in the source location.

To create an API instance by importing it to API Manager:

  1. Go to API Manager > API Administration.

  2. Select Manage API > Import.

The file browser window is displayed.

  3. Select the ZIP file of the API that you want to import.

  4. Click Import.

  5. If external client providers are configured for your environment, select the client provider that you want to use to authorize access to this API from registered client applications.
