Modify a Schedule

You can modify a schedule if you want to change:

  • The test version that it runs

  • The location in which the test is run from

  • The frequency at which to run the test

  • The monitor in which the test is defined

Before You Begin

If you want to modify a schedule to use a public location instead of a private one, ensure that your organization in Anypoint Platform has not reached its maximum number of schedules for public locations. An indicator at the top of the Monitors section gives the count of such schedules that are already being used.

Procedure

There are two different methods for modifying a schedule.

To modify a schedule from the Schedules section of a monitor:

  1. Select the monitor in which you want to modify a schedule.

  2. Click the Schedules tab.

  3. Find the schedule in the list, click the three dots on the right end of the table row, and select Modify.

  4. In the Modify Schedule dialog, change one or more of these items:

    • The test version that you want the schedule to run

    • The location to run the test from

    • The frequency at which to run the test

  5. Click Save.

To add a schedule from the list of schedules that use a particular location:

  1. Display the list of locations by clicking the Locations tab at the top of the screen.

  2. Select the location that you want to use in a new schedule.

  3. Find the schedule in the list, click the three dots on the right end of the table row, and select Modify.

  4. In the Modify Schedule dialog, change one or more of these items:

    • The name of the monitor to apply the schedule to

    • The test version that you want the schedule to run

    • The frequency at which to run the test

  5. Click Save.

Result

Changes take place after the current interval elapses. For example, if you change the interval of a schedule from every 15 minutes to every hour and the timer on the monitor shows that there are 5 minutes left in the current interval, the new interval goes into effect after the five minutes elapse and the test is run.
